Vibrations on ships and offshore platforms can damage systems, structures and sensitive equipment. In addition, noise caused by vibrations can have a negative impact on the comfort, health and productivity of people on board.
For decades, ATIS has been providing solutions for vibrations based on the elastic polyurethane Sylomer in ship and yacht building. The excellent vibration-isolating and vibration-damping properties reduce wear and noise pollution on board. From now on ATIS has a new range of vibration-damping polyurethane products in its range: Sylomer FR Marine. In addition to the excellent vibration-isolating properties, this range also has a MED certificate, in accordance with IMO MSC 307 (88), FTP Code 2 and 5.
